Safety is critical for an inclusive workplace where people can do their best work. This course empowers employees with the knowledge and skills needed to foster those safe, respectful workplaces where violence is not tolerated. It combines readings, self-reflections, and interactive prompts to help employees recognize behaviors that could constitute workplace violence, understand how to respond to those behaviors, and embrace the role they can play to create a safe workplace.
When supplemented with an employer-led training that addresses their specific Workplace Violence Prevention Plan and provides an opportunity for questions, this training satisfies the compliance requirements under California Labor Code Section 6401.9.
