Tiwonge Cohn supports Paradigm’s clients as a consultant and facilitator. She is a culture and inclusion expert and has held strategic and operational roles in this field for over 16 years. She is a third culture kid, who brings a wealth of experience from the public, private and charitable sectors. She has lived, studied, and worked across four continents building rapport with diverse cultures.
Tiwonge has undertaken novel research to support clients. She has audited and analysed qualitative and quantitative material. She is adept at helping clients to discover where they need to dive deeper using her expertise in conducting focus groups and interviews to retrieve vital information from stakeholders. She deploys these skills widely to support clients achieve Athena SWAN, Race Equality Charter and “Excellent” in the Equality Framework for Local Government.
Tiwonge is an experienced trainer and facilitator who has designed and led the delivery of bespoke training courses for clients at all levels. Tiwonge uses her educational background in Political Science and Psychology to help make the complex concepts simple for clients by using a positive and holistic approach. She applies her international background and knowledge of languages to help those with different perspectives and cultures grasp its nuances.
Tiwonge believes that successful organization cultures come from respecting people’s opinions; being tolerant of everyone’s views – even those that may contrast with our own. Recent clients she’s helped include Greater London Authority’s Mayors Office, The Walt Disney Company, Aldi, Formula 1, Urenco, Comic Relief, Royal Holloway University of London, and Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
Tiwonge also volunteers as a Trustee for two charities Changing Faces and Debt Justice UK.
