Paradigm Giving 2019: Supporting Nonprofits Driving Impact Around the World
At Paradigm, we believe organizations should make a positive impact in the world around them. While building more diverse, inclusive companies drives change for the better on many levels, we know it’s not a panacea for all of the current challenges facing society.
With that in mind, every year, we set aside money to donate to nonprofits tackling some of the most pressing social justice, humanitarian, and community-specific issues. We not only donate as a company, we allocate a generous amount for each of our employees to donate to the 501c3 of their choice through our corporate philanthropy program Paradigm Giving.
This year, similar to previous years, Paradigm and our employees chose to donate to organizations protecting critical rights that are under threat and groups helping create more career opportunities for people from underrepresented backgrounds. We’re proud to mark our fourth year supporting incredible nonprofits like Planned Parenthood, the Equal Justice Initiative, Southern Poverty Law Center, Black Girls Code, and Code 2040.
We’re also contributing to organizations that are on the front lines of the immigration crisis, providing better access to education, reforming the US criminal justice system, preventing gun violence, supporting people’s transition out of homelessness, and aiding recovery from natural disasters.
We’ve included a full list of the organizations Paradigm and our employees donated to below. Please consider adding one (or more) to the list of organizations you’ll support in 2020 and beyond.
