Rachel brings years of experience translating psychology research into actionable practices, with a focus on growth mindset – the belief that our abilities and intelligence can grow and improve. At Paradigm, Rachel’s work focuses on developing safe, motivating, and engaging work cultures to increase diversity and inclusion.
Before Paradigm Rachel worked for PERTS, an applied research center at Stanford University. At PERTS, Rachel designed professional development courses and resources for educators, led growth mindset workshops, and partnered with various organizations and educators to develop psychologically wise materials and classroom strategies. Rachel has expertise in qualitative research, including focus groups, and has coordinated research involving over 10,000 students. Rachel holds a B.A. in Psychology and Gender and Women’s Studies from Bowdoin College.
