Maya is passionate about building inclusive workplace cultures that foster safety and belonging for all employees. As a consultant on the Learning team, Maya partners with organizations to design and deploy effective DEI learning. Maya has trained execs, people leaders, and individual contributors across 70+ organizations – including Etsy, GoPro, and GE – in adopting evidence-based practices that lead to sustainable, long-term organizational change.
Maya holds a doctorate in Social Psychology from the City University of New York Graduate Center and is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Prior to joining Paradigm, Maya conducted scientific research where she designed academic interventions to reduce bias and increase equity and worked as an adjunct assistant professor of psychology at Hunter College. She has delivered hundreds of workshops and presentations across global audiences on DEI topics and has authored work in scientific journals, book chapters, and Slate Magazine.
