Laura Ornelas

Executive Assistant

Originally from Miraflores, Jalisco in Mexico, Laura brings her passion for inclusive spaces to her role as Executive Assistant at Paradigm. She has dedicated her life, career, and education to serve underrepresented communities in multiple capacities. At Paradigm, Laura bridges this passion with her expertise in coordinating complex executive calendars, managing multiple projects, and providing thoughtful, strategic administrative support.

Laura loves empowering her communities through volunteering and information sharing. Most recently, Laura was appointed Leadership Council Member of the Latino Community Foundation. She also serves on the Board of Entre-Tech, a non-profit dedicated to teaching and providing technical skills to underserved communities of the East Bay. Laura is a first-generation triple major from Santa Clara University and holds bachelor’s degrees in Ethnic Studies, Sociology, and Spanish Language.

Prior to joining Paradigm, Laura was Executive Administrative Assistant at Beneficial State Bank, a triple bottom line bank dedicated to building prosperity in local communities with a focus on social justice, environmental resilience, and economic sustainability.
