David’s career in HR technology sales and Community Organizing has been driven by a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion and a desire to expand access to opportunities to people of all backgrounds.
After studying Anthropology and Political Science at Georgia State University, David quickly began a career in grassroots community organizing, helping promote issues such as paid sick leave and higher minimum wages to get them on local and state ballots. David’s passion for working people’s issues carried into his technology career, where he pivoted to sell HR technologies that make companies fairer and more equitable. He has co-led two LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Groups and has advocated for greater community investment by corporate citizens through volunteer and fundraising efforts.
David enjoys gardening, music, visual arts, and other creative endeavors. He draws joy from forging new connections with people from all walks of life and building bridges that bring us closer to understanding each other a little better.
